Quest Companies, a marketing services company based in Winston-Salem, N.C., has sold its online subsidiary Computrucks.com to Omaha-based Just4Dealers.com , an online heavy-truck auction company.
Although Computrucks.com hosts more than 30,000 visitors each month, Quest said the site no longer fits into the company’s goal of providing nationwide retail coverage for dozens of consumer goods companies.
Michael S. Sosnowski, president of Just4Dealers.com, said the acquisition of Computrucks.com will enable his website to open its auctions to owner-operators and other independents, in addition to the franchised and independent dealers it currently serves.
