Butcher named driver recruiter at CTL’s Mulberry, Fla. terminal

CTL Transportation has named Charles Butcher driver recruiter at the phosphate and fertilizer hauler’s general office in Mulberry, Fla., where he will be responsible for recruiting management. Butcher has many years of experience with recruiting, placing and training candidates for companies searching for talented employees.

Butcher nost recently was employed with Heartland Workforce, where he attended career fairs, handled public speaking engagements and worked with community leaders to create awareness of staffing challenges. In addition, Butcher’s career path has involved retail, foodservice and military service: He is an Army veteran, where he served for seven years.

“Charles has the knowledge, character and skills to meet the unique challenges of transportation recruitment,” says Ken Wieck, CTL’s director of human resources and driver recruiting. “He is a great addition to our team.”
