J.J. Keller & Associates has introduced Keller-Soft Hazwaste Manifest Manager software, a tool designed to automate completion of Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest forms (use of which is required by the Environmental Protection Agency for all hazardous waste shipments).
The software, according to J.J. Keller, creates and prints forms, then stores them electronically so users can access previous forms and labels to assist with reporting and resending of like shipments. It also offers drop-down boxes designed to allow users to select information that has been keyed before, such as designated facility, description or transporter/generator. Users also can preview forms and labels before printing in order to make any necessary corrections.
J.J. Keller says the software is compatible with its Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest forms, as well as forms produced by competitors. The Keller-Soft Hazwaste Manifest Manager also creates, prints and saves nonhazardous-waste manifests, as well as hazardous-waste package markings and labels, according to the company.
