Howard Laga has been promoted to vice president and general manager of Penray, a manufacturer of automotive and heavy-duty chemicals. Laga will oversee the daily business of Penray and direct the formulation and implementation of short- and long-term operational goals to meet business profitability and growth objectives. He also will manage the supply chain, from the purchasing function through manufacturing, as well as all aspects of the information systems department and the sales and marketing functions.

“I would like to congratulate Howard on his recent promotion to vice president and general manager,” says Rod McKenzie, president of Elk Grove Village, Ill.-based Penray. “He has been a member of the Penray team for many years, and during that time, has shown that he possesses the knowledge and experience necessary to take Penray to the next level.”

Laga has held various sales and marketing management positions in Penray’s automotive and heavy-duty divisions since joining the company in 1983. Most recently, he was the national sales manager of Power Fleet, where he was a major contributor in the growth of Penray’s cooling system and fuel system treatments.
