ATRI’s research on border crossing issues and opportunities, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Customs & Border Protection, will be the topic of a three-hour discussion on Monday, Nov. 13, at 8 a.m. CST on “The Dave Nemo Show” (XM channel 171). Live in-studio guests will include Louis Samenfink, director of CBP’s Modernization Program; and Ron Trott, vice president of operations for Con-way Freight.

The discussion will focus on ATRI research that identifies overall border crossing issues, and the role that the new ACE electronic manifest system might play in improving border operations. Listeners are welcome to call (615) 292-6366 and ask questions of the in-studio guests. The discussion will be facilitated by Dan Murray, ATRI vice president of research.

ATRI hosts a regular bimonthly feature on “The Dave Nemo Show” that discusses the approach and findings of current research initiatives and how they impact truck drivers and motor carrier operations.
