Schneider National announces Mexico Express intermodal service

Schneider National has announced an intermodal solution – Mexico Express – that started in June to deliver greater capacity and faster service between the Eastern Seaboard of the United States and Mexico. Through a contract with Kansas City Southern, Kansas City Southern de México and Norfolk Southern, Schneider National says customers gain priority access to up to 120 loads per day north and south of the border.

Since inception, Mexico Express has attracted both new and existing customers and has achieved consistent growth in volume week over week, says Schneider, the first truckload carrier to offer such cross-border services; this is the second intermodal offering from the company in six months.
