Ohio border crackdown stops nearly 1,500 trucks

Officers from four states pulled over 1,459 commercial vehicles along Ohio’s borders the week of Nov. 6, the Ohio State Highway Patrol announced.

The stops resulted in 582 vehicle inspections and 197 out-of-service orders. One wanted suspect was apprehended, 870 citations were written, and 795 equipment violations were found.
