GE Fleet Services receives 2 e-learning awards

GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services has been awarded the prestigious Brandon Hall Research Silver Excellence in Learning Award and the Media Communications Association-International Bronze Reel Award for its maintenance management e-learning training program. Fleet Services, based in Eden Prairie, Minn., says it is the first in the fleet industry to receive these awards.

The Brandon Hall Research Excellence in Learning Award recognizes the best in innovative corporate learning. In 2005, a total of 210 entries, representing 16 countries, were submitted. Fleet Services maintenance online training program was selected for its excellence in courseware, live sessions, technology and case descriptions.

Media Communications Association-International celebrates excellence in media communications and selects those companies that demonstrate creativity and advancement in technical applications. Fleet Services was chosen for its maintenance program training and educational online learning application that met the meticulous criteria of message design, creative elements and production elements.

Fleet Services says its online maintenance program training was developed with the customer at the forefront. The intuitive online training application is intended to reinforce Fleet Services’ commitment to providing its customers with best-in-class service by arming its employees with the knowledge, skill set and tools to listen to customers’ needs and turn those needs into real, actionable solutions.
