In ceremonies held on the campus of Northwood University in Midland, Mich. in November, Chris Terryn, product manager of Sloan Transportation Products, congratulated Clifford C. Miller, a senior from East Tawas, Mich., and Jeffrey A. Olson, a sophomore from Elburn, Ill. for receiving a Sloan Heavy Duty Aftermarket scholarship. Miller and Olson each will receive a $2,000 scholarship for the 2006-07 academic year.
Applicants for the Sloan scholarship must be enrolled in Northwood’s automotive aftermarket management program with an emphasis in either the heavy-duty management or heavy-duty vehicle technology curriculum. This is the third year of Sloan’s heavy-duty scholarship program.
