Archetype Corp. has announced the appointment of Alva Wright to director of West Coast sales. Wright, who will manage operations at Archetype’s satellite offices in San Diego, will be responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts in selected vertical markets and expanding the company’s existing customer base. He also will be involved in developing strategic partnerships and maximizing co-branding opportunities in order to help solidify market presence and define Archetype’s product value and visibility relative to competitors.

Prior to joining Archetype, Wright was an executive account manager for Quake Global, a manufacturer and distributor of Orbcomm, Iridium and Inmarsat D+ satellite communication systems. He also served as director of marketing and sales at Quality Software Associates in Carlsbad, Calif.
