GVT appoints North America sales executive, 3 sales managers

Global Vehicle Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of components for the commercial vehicle market, has named John Adami vice president of North America sales. GVT also appointed three new key account managers and a vice president for quality.

Adami was promoted from vice president of North America sales, cab/chassis for Seattle-based GVT. Prior positions included sales and technical leadership roles at GT Development, where his truck industry career began in 1983. GT Development was acquired in 2005 by IMI, headquartered in the United Kingdom, and integrated into the company’s Norgren subsidiary to form GVT. Adami has responsibility for cab, chassis and powertrain sales for the commercial vehicle industry in the United States and Canada. He reports to Mike Bozich, GVT president and chief executive officer.

New key account managers and their target areas are Kevin Plummer, trailer and specialty accounts; Manuel Velazquez, Mexican market; and Dave Shrader, engines and engine system accounts. Also, Dale Samples was named vice president for quality.
