Refuse and recycling vehicle manufacturer Heil Environmental has named Mark Guild director of marketing. Guild, who will oversee the company’s marketing and product management teams, is responsible for Heil’s internal and external marketing communications programs, product management and market analytics.

“Mark brings to Heil a wealth of experience in product development, branding and market analysis,” says David Baratti, vice president of sales and marketing for Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Heil. “His leadership will enable us to develop and sell products that better meet the needs of our refuse customers around the world.”

Guild’s goals include enhancing the current product development process to make it more robust and customer-driven. He also is working with others within Heil on efforts to refine product platforms to improve their global utility.

Prior to joining Heil, Guild spent four years with Eaton Corp.; most recently, he was global marketing manager for Eaton’s Vehicle Controls business unit, with responsibility for all marketing activities. Previously, he worked for Dana Corp. and Newbury Park Adventist Academy.
