“We originally offered this poster a number of years ago and have had so many requests for copies since that we decided to offer it again to truckers who are interested in doing the right thing for their tires,” says Harvey Brodsky, managing director of TRIB. “The right thing is to use a properly calibrated tire gauge on a regular basis instead of a tire thumper. Any trucker who thinks he can tell how much air is in a tire by thumping it might as well thump the hood of his cab to determine if his engine needs oil.”
