CTL Transportation has presented the first monthly Bull Dog Award of 2007 to Loyd Harrell, a professional tank truck driver based at the company’s terminal in East St. Louis, Ill. The Bull Dog Award — which is presented to acknowledge an employee’s character, integrity, performance or improvement in performance — is the most prestigious honor recognized at CTL. Harrell has been with the Mulberry, Fla.-based phosphate hauler since December 1995.

“Loyd puts the needs of the company first,” says John Kays, East St. Louis terminal manager. “Recently, he delayed his vacation in order to help with an emergency load. You never see Loyd in a shirt that has not been pressed, and he is always willing to handle any work we ask him to run without hesitation.”
