CTL Transportation has announced that the first recipient of the Bull Dog of the Year Award goes to Kenny Dawson, a professional tank truck driver based at the company’s Atlanta terminal. Dawson has been with the phosphate hauler for eight years.

“One might say Kenny has an uncanny way of starting things off the right way,” says Ken Wieck, director of human resources and driver recruiting for Mulberry, Fla.-based CTL. “Exactly one year ago this month in January of 2006, Kenny was selected as CTL’s very first Bull Dog of the Month. Once again in January 2007, we are here to recognize him as CTL’s very first Bull Dog of the Year.”

The intent of CTL’s Bull Dog Award is to recognize co-workers, on a monthly basis, who display great character, integrity, professionalism and performance or improvement in performance. Since starting the award in 2005, 17 CTL co-workers have been recognized as Bull Dogs.
