Donaldson offers system approach for fuel filter water separators

Donaldson Company says its fuel filter water separators including Donaldson Twist&Drain, now are available as part of a system paired with a wide variety of head assemblies. To support its FFWS line, Donaldson is offering a large variety of head options featuring port sizes from / to ⅞ inch, and flow ranges from 45 to 180 gallons per hour.

Donaldson says FFWS can be applied to a variety of applications. The filters are designed to be compatible with petroleum-based fuels and are readily available. Other features of the Twist&Drain FFWS, according to the company, include:

A wide variety of filtration efficiencies and capacities as well as flow ranges;

A large drain handle that is easy to grasp and operate with a free-flowing drain for swift water elimination; and

A self-venting design that allows water to evacuate in a quick, steady stream – not a slow drip – eliminating the need to open a secondary vent.
