Distribution Technologies, a provider of dedicated and common carriage for liquid bulk commodities, recently welcomed five company drivers to its Million Miles Club. The drivers earned the honor by achieving one million or more consecutive accident-free miles throughout their driving careers.

“It is truly a remarkable feat to earn the elite Million Mile distinction,” says John Rakoczy, chief operations officer for Newbury, Ohio-based DistTech. “We commend these drivers and our entire fleet for keeping safety a top priority each and every day.”

DistTech drivers who reached the one million mile mark in 2006 include Johnnie Tolbert, Macon, Ga.; William Bennett, Newbury; Dennis Day, Newbury; Frank Willis, Newbury; and William Rairdon, Reynolds, Ga.

They join 48 other DistTech drivers nationwide who have reached the one- and two-million accident-free mark since 1989.
