Trimac Income Fund announced Monday, April 2, that Terry Owen — a trustee of Trimac Income Fund and president and chief executive officer of Trimac Transportation Services Inc. — will be leaving Trimac, effective Dec. 31, to pursue other interests.

During the remainder of 2007, in addition to performing his normal responsibilities, Owen will be participating in the transition of responsibilities. According to the company, it is expected that Jeff McCaig will assume the duties of CEO of Trimac Transportation Services Inc., in addition to his current role as chairman.

Trimac, based in Calgary, is Canada’s largest provider of bulk trucking services with operations from coast to coast. In addition, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Bulk Plus Logistics Limited Partnership, Trimac provides third-party transportation logistics services in Canada and the United States.

Owen has been associated with Trimac and predecessor companies in senior executive capacities since June 1994. He has been involved in the creation of shareholder value through the planning and implementation of major corporate transactions, according to the company.
