Velociti Inc., a provider of global installation and service of wireless technology systems, has been certified by Pressure Systems International for PSI tire inflation system installations in Europe. Velociti has been an MTIS by PSI mobile installer in the North America for six years.

“Our relationship with Velociti continues to grow,” says Mike Niemeyer, director of North American fleet sales for San Antonio-based PSI. “They have been our primary mobile installer for the U.S. fleet market for many years, and their experience with retrofitting MTIS includes configuring the system to report tire inflation events in real time via satellite or other electronic modes now made possible through trailer tracking, data and GPS reporting systems. Velociti can do the certified installation of MTIS, whether the fleet wants the tire inflation event reported to the driver in the tractor cab, to a person monitoring such events from the home office, or both.”

Kansas City-base Velociti, founded in 1989, was created to provide mobile installation and service technicians to perform all aspects of technology deployments to a broad mix of market sectors, including transportation, retail and warehousing. Velociti says it helps companies achieve a return on investment by providing professional, quality workmanship delivered by full-time certified employees.

“Our plans for 2007 include a strong increase in the use of our tire inflation system in Europe, and it’s reassuring to have a professional team like Velociti in place there to do our installations,” says Frank Sonzala, executive vice president for PSI. “They understand the technology and how to implement it so the user gets the best possible results for his operation.”
