Maximus, a provider of fleet enterprise asset management software and fuel management solutions, recently announced that it has signed a fleet management software contract with Hennepin County in Minnesota. The county will use Maximus FleetFocus and FuelFocus software to better manage two shops and more than 1,100 units of fleet equipment.

Hennepin County, Minnesota’s most populated county and part of the Minneapolis Metro area, says it selected Maximus FleetFocus because it found it to be the only fleet management system on the market that provides a fully-integrated real-time fuel management system, FuelFocus. Additionally, the County says it determined that the FleetFocus software’s inventory and shop operations modules would provide superior functionality for data collection, warranty recovery, inventory control and improved reporting.

“Our goal is to offer the best in integrated fleet software and fuel management solutions,” says James Schnepp, vice president of Reston, Va.-based Maximus. “We designed our software to be scaleable, easy to integrate and use, and to provide up-to-the-minute, accurate tracking of every single event that could possibly occur over the lifetime of a vehicle. We are excited that Hennepin County has chosen Maximus for all the features we offer, and we know that they will find our solutions to be cost-effective and innovative.”
