Curt Wagner has assumed duties as director of marketing for Hendrickson Auxiliary Axle Systems. Wagner brings a strong background in truck suspension systems and an extensive knowledge of the company’s products, says Mike Gottschalk, general manager of Hendrickson Auxiliary Axle Systems, based in Hebron, Ohio.
Included in Wagner’s responsibilities for the marketing function are direction for research and analysis of market trends, product gap and direction analysis, industry trends and customer dialogue. Wagner transitioned into his new role from the post of account manager representing all Hendrickson divisions to Volvo Trucks and Mack Trucks, a position he held since 1999.
A 14-year veteran of Hendrickson, Wagner first joined the company as plant manager of the Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems plant in Lebanon, Ind., and moved to trailer division headquarters in Canton, Ohio, as a marketing manager in 1997. Prior to Hendrickson, Wagner worked for Westinghouse Electric in a series of engineering and operations roles.
