Averitt Express recently was honored with the 2006 Carrier of the Year award from Rheem Manufacturing. Rheem presented the award in recognition of Cookeville, Tenn.-based Averitt’s efforts to uphold Rheem’s high service standards. The award is based on criteria such as on-time performance, claims service, billing accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Ray Roldan, division logistics manager at Rheem, says it was a great pleasure to congratulate Averitt’s accomplishments. “Averitt exceeded our service standards for the entire year of 2006, and their efforts are greatly appreciated,” Roldan says. “It’s invigorating to see one of our partners embrace our standards with such passion.”
