Ryder System, a provider of transportation and supply chain management solutions, recently announced it has been awarded a long-term full-service lease contract to provide vehicles and maintenance services, as well as fleet management and other value-added support services, to EasySale, a Dallas-based company that simplifies online auction sales by managing the entire process from pickup and marketing to final distribution to buyers.

Under the long-term contract, EasySale will rely on Ryder’s customized full-service lease solution to pick up items to be processed for sale online and to manage the distribution of sold products. The turnkey solution includes vehicles, vehicle maintenance and support services, including emergency roadside assistance, fueling, equipment specification and evaluation, Web-based fleet management reporting tools, administrative support and driver safety programs.
