FFE Logistics Inc., a member of the Frozen Food Express Industries Group of Companies, announced on Wednesday, Aug. 22, the opening of three new branch offices offering brokerage and logistics services. The new branches opened Aug. 1 in Atlanta, Houston and Kansas City, Mo., and brought the company’s locations up to five, complementing the existing agency network.

“These new offices give FFE Logistics a local presence in the new market areas and will strengthen our customer and carrier relationships, while providing outstanding service, communication and response to our business partners,” says John Hickerson, president of Dallas-based FFE Logistics. “We need to be where our business and customers are, and these new locations will facilitate that.”

Hickerson says continued expansion is planned, with openings of new branch offices set for Orlando, Fla.; Memphis, Tenn.; Laredo, Texas; El Paso, Texas; Newark, N.J.; Philadelphia; Chicago; Columbus, Ohio; Los Angeles and Oakland, Calif., all by the end of January 2008.

“Our goal is to have 10 more logistics centers opened across the country in the next five months, bringing the total to 15,” Hickerson says. “We will continue to grow our agency network at a steady pace. We will progressively continue to open in other selected markets during 2008.”
