The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems both announced today, Aug. 31, that they received Paschall Truck Lines’ Maintenance Vendor of the Year award at the trucking company’s annual vendor dinner.
“I would like to thank our entire team that helped make this possible in 2007,” says Dave Beasley, director of commercial tire sales for Akron, Ohio-based Goodyear. “This is a huge achievement and testimonial with such an important customer.”
The award was presented to the two companies for technical support, ability to help lower costs, product performance and “a desire to be part of a team effort,” according to officials of Murray, Ky.-based Paschall.
“This was the true definition of a team effort as we created a superior program on new tires, retreads and service,” says Frank Payne, vice president of operations for Fort Smith, Ark.-based Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems. “Wingfoot is proud to serve Paschall Truck Lines.”
