PetroLiance recently announced that it has been recognized as one of the nation’s top-performing distributors of ExxonMobil lubricants. The company was one of only 10 companies nationwide to earn the Premier Award in ExxonMobil’s annual Circle of Excellence program.

Petroliance was formed last year through the consolidation of four of the nation’s largest ExxonMobil distributors. “Naturally we are very pleased to earn this recognition, especially since it comes in our very first year as a consolidated company,” says Kevin McCarter, PetroLiance chief executive officer.

The Circle of Excellence program recognizes top ExxonMobil distributors based on a broad variety of criteria, including commitment to best business practices, volume and premium product sales growth. The top-level award, the Premier Award earned by PetroLiance, is reserved for only the top 10 distributors every year.

PetroLiance was formed last year through the consolidation of four heritage companies: Boncosky Oil Co. of Chicago, Commercial Ullman Lubricants Co. of Ohio, Lubricant Technologies of North Carolina, and Young Oil Company Inc. of South Florida.

“Combining our four operations has been a complex challenge that demanded a lot of attention and effort from all of our people,” McCarter says. “The fact that we were still recognized for excellence, quality and customer service during this challenging time is a testament to the hard work and customer focus of our dedicated employees.”
