Expedite Info and The ExpressTrucking.com Network, headquartered in Akron, Ohio, will hold its next Expedite Professional’s Forum Oct. 26 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Akron/Richfield, Ohio.

This is a quarterly networking and dinner social event for current and prospective drivers and owner-operators in expedited trucking. Attendees from all facets of the supply chain are invited to come and gather to chat, network and discuss industry issues and the effects on the expedited freight segment.

The forum provides a venue for anyone interested in expedited trucking to obtain information from industry educators and veteran expediters, which will help them prepare, set adequate expectations and increase their potential success.

Changes in the hours-of-service regulations, the U.S.-Mexico cross-border pilot program and other industry trends will be discussed. Seating for the forum is limited, and preregistration is required; call 877-878-4437 for more information.

The Expedite Professionals Forum takes place the night before the Expediter Training Classes scheduled for Oct. 27. These business classes teach the fundamentals for maximizing profits in expedited trucking. All class attendees receive free admission to the previous night’s forum but must be registered for class by Oct. 15.
