NPTC, J.J. Keller webcast to feature driver performance scorecards

The National Private Truck Council is again teaming with J.J. Keller & Associates Inc. to present a free webcast on “Driver Performance Scorecards” on Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 1 to 2:30 pm CT.

Based on extensive interest among attendees of the last webcast, Jim Angel, CTP, from Atrium Companies returns to walk attendees through a number of issues surrounding his company’s implementation and use of driver performance scorecards, including building the scorecard, data capture and populating the scorecard, improvements in driver interaction, results (driver turnover, driver attitude, performance and productivity), links to compensation, benefits to the company, changes to recruiting and assessment standards, and changes to dispatcher/fleet manager competencies.

The webcast, which will be moderated by Gary Petty, NPTC president and chief executive officer, will include presentations from:

  • Jim Angel, CTP, director of fleet operations, Atrium Companies;
  • Tom Moore, CTP, executive director of the NPTC Institute and NPTC vice president of public affairs; and
  • Tom Bray, editor of Transport Management, J.J. Keller & Associates.
