Goodyear’s award-winning TireLogic magazine for the trucking industry is going digital, and the Akron, Ohio-based tire company says it is saving more than trees with the move online. Steve McClellan, vice president of commercial tire systems, says fleets, owner-operators and dealers will benefit from a more interactive e-magazine.

Goodyear is encouraging readers to ask tire-related questions online, with responses revealed in future TireLogic issues. “TireLogic‘s mission remains the same — to keep truck operators up-to-date on tire issues, with ideas to lower their cost-per-mile and to manage a cost-effective tire program,” McClellan says. “A digital magazine is more accessible for fleets and truck operators, so they’ll never miss a copy.”

To sign up for a free subscription for the e-magazine, go to www.goodyearoffers.com/tirelogic/. Also accessible from the signup site, the Winter 2007/2008 issue features stories on getting the most tread life out of tires; answers to many questions that fleets have about their tire programs; and case studies on how leading companies have transformed their tire programs.

Readers who formerly received TireLogic magazine in the mail will be required to sign up online, McClellan says. Once registered, readers will receive a new issue of TireLogic magazine automatically by e-mail when it becomes available. For those without computer access, copies can be requested at U.S. and Canada Goodyear commercial tire dealers and Wingfoot Commercial Tire Centers.
