Central Hauling honors 2007 Driver of the Year

Lonnie Norman recently was named Central Hauling’s 2007 Driver of the Year at a recent employee appreciation luncheon. The honor is awarded based on driver performance in safety and on-time delivery.

Norman has been a professional driver for more than 13 years, the last four for Central Hauling. He has 700,000 safe miles and 100 percent on-time deliveries for 2005 through 2007.

Ronnie Pinson, who was first runner-up for the honor, has been a professional driver for more than seven years, the last four for Central Hauling. He has 1 million safe miles and 100 percent on-time deliveries for 2004 through 2007.

Glen Myers, who was second runner-up, has been a professional driver for more than 14 years and also served in the Army for 14 years. He has 500,000 safe miles award and 100 percent on-time deliveries for 2007.

Central Hauling Co., based in Mabelvale, Ark., is a full truckload carrier that is 100 percent owner/operator-driven.
