Logistics and supply chain management provider Roadrunner Dawes Freight Systems announced Thursday, Jan. 17, expanded freight transport services from its Cleveland terminal to the following eight Northeastern states, effective immediately: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.

“With our recent terminal expansion in Cleveland comes the ability to service our customers’ needs to expanded coverage areas,” says Jeff Nott, Cleveland terminal manager. “The expansion to the Northeast will allow us to grow and gain additional market share not only from our current customers but from new customers who service this key market from the Greater Cleveland area.”

The Cleveland market RDFS terminal is located at 89 Cuyahoga Falls Industrial Parkway in Cuyahgoa Falls, Ohio.

“The company’s expansion into the Northeast is a direct result of our customers requesting RDFS to provide additional coverage from our Cleveland facility,” says Scott L. Dobak, vice president of sales and marketing for Roadrunner Dawes, based in Cudahy, Wis. “Many of the changes we have made at our Cleveland facility will allow us to provide an expanded portfolio of services going forward.”
