USF Holland, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide Inc., recently announced the launch of its new guaranteed service to and from Canada. USF Holland says all guaranteed and expedited services are backed by its no-hassle claim-free guarantee to be on time and intact, or no invoice will be sent.
USF Holland, based in Holland, Mich., says it is the first regional less-than-truckload carrier to offer time-specific guaranteed delivery before 3:30 p.m. between the United States and Canada. The company states that service by noon and by 9 a.m., now offered
within the U.S. domestic system of USF Holland, will be offered between Canada and the United States later this year.
Customers can use the transit time calculator on the USF Holland website, USFnet.com, and enter the origin and destination ZIP codes to see what delivery options are available, to learn what destinations are available, and to determine the price.
“We have experienced an increased volume of shipping to and from Canada,” says John O’Sullivan, president of USF Holland. “For shipments crossing the border, there is an increased need for speed and precision, just as we have seen for domestic U.S. shipments.
