J.J. Keller announces key officer appointments

J.J. Keller & Associates has announced a number of key operating officer appointments. These appointments, which became effective Jan. 1, are part of the Neenah, Wis.-based company’s overall succession plan and are strategic in the facilitation of J.J. Keller’s accelerated growth.

  • Thomas Hupf has been promoted to vice president of information systems. Hupf joined the J.J. Keller organization in 1977. Since beginning his career with J.J. Keller, he has held various positions, including applications manager, senior data processing and systems manager, corporate data processing and systems manager, and director of information systems in 1997.
  • Anthony LaMalfa has been promoted to vice president of human resource services. LaMalfa began his career with the organization in 1988 as personnel manager. In 1990, he was promoted to senior personnel manager, and in 1993 to corporate personnel manager. In 2000, he was promoted to director of human resource services.
  • Roger Porath has been promoted to vice president of finance. Porath has been a member of the J.J. Keller organization since 1976 when he started as an accounting supervisor. He steadily advanced with the company to his previous position of director of accounting/corporate controller in 1987.
  • Keith Keller has been promoted to director of product development. Keller began his career at J.J. Keller in 1996 as corporate product development manager. He is responsible for managing the operations and direction of the Product Development Center.
  • A number of additional management promotions, also effective in January, were announced:

  • Betty Weiland was promoted to senior editorial manager for transportation.
  • Amy Peters was promoted to senior compensation/HR systems manager.
  • Cory Puuri has been promoted to senior business development manager.
  • Allen Ditter was promoted to manufacturing maintenance manager.
  • Kurt Keberlein was promoted to distribution manager.
  • Amy Kriewaldt was promoted to renewals sales manager.
  • Amy Krumenauer was promoted to employee services manager.
