Fleet One, a provider of fuel cards and fleet-related payment solutions to businesses and government agencies with vehicles, recently announced its selection by the Commonwealth of Kentucky to a four-year contract for government entities to be able to use the Fleet One Local fuel card at more than 1,000 retail locations throughout the state. The contract allows for six one-year renewal options following the initial four-year term.

The agreement represents an annual use of 13 million gallons of fuel for use by government entities, including fleets used for law enforcement, emergency services, regulatory inspections and other services. The agreement also allows county and city government entities to attach to the contract.

“This state-level contract continues to illustrate to us that we are providing the kind of products and services our fleet customers need and want, whether in the public or private sector,” says Tom Wagner, vice president of strategic markets for Nashville, Tenn.-based Fleet One. “We look forward to a long and positive relationship with the Commonwealth of Kentucky.”
