Rockland Flooring announced Jan. 29 the acquisition of Nelson International’s Trailer Components Division. Founded by David Nelson in 1972, Nelson has supplied components for trailer and truck body manufacturers worldwide, developing an extensive network of suppliers throughout Asia and South America. Terms were not announced.

“We are excited about this new acquisition and look forward to integrating Nelson International with Rockland,” says Marc Chorney, chief executive officer of Rockland Flooring. “Nelson is a great fit for us on many levels. They have a very attractive customer base, and their supplier network is established and efficient. This acquisition enables us to supply all wood components required in any type of trailer, which has been a stated goal of Rockland since our inception.”
