Maxon Lift Corp. designed its Severe Duty BMRA (BMRSD) liftgate for customers running deliveries in harsh weather climates, with available capacities of 3,500, 4,400, 5,500 and 6,600 pounds, and applications for 96- or 102-inch-wide truck bodies and trailers.
Maxon says the BMRSD has power-down and power-opener functions, and offers a fully molded electrical harness tested at temperatures of -25 degrees Fahrenheit. Also, the company’s proprietary heavy-duty Maxpro paint system with polyurea topcoat and zinc-rich primer helps provide additional corrosion protection. Stainless-steel pins and bolt-on installation eliminate the need for welding and repainting, according to the company.
