The American Trucking Associations announced today, Feb. 6, that it is seeking nominations for professional truck drivers to serve on the 2009-2010 America’s Road Team. Sponsored by Volvo Trucks North America, America’s Road Team is a national public outreach program led by a small group of professional truck drivers who share superior driving skills, remarkable safety records and a strong desire to spread the word about safety on the highway.

“America’s Road Team truly represents the best of the best,” says Bill Graves, ATA president and chief executive officer. “The drivers selected to serve as captains have impressive driving records and unmatched enthusiasm for their job and for the industry. I encourage the trucking community to nominate professional drivers they feel embodies the Road Team message of safety.”
