Registration is under way for the 2nd annual O&S Truckers’ Challenge, an event that is part of Bowl For Kids’ Sake, the signature fund-raising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

In 2007, O&S Trucking Inc. and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks created the O&S Truckers’ Challenge, which was part of Bowl For Kids’ Sake on St. Patrick’s Day at Battlefield Lanes in Springfield, Mo.; 21 teams made up the challenge. Between participation donations, lane sponsorships, T-shirt sponsorships and giveaway prizes, the Challenge brought in about $9,350, which helped in reaching the Bowl for Kids’ Sake record-setting total of $75,641.15.

The organizations say that due to demand, arrangements have been made for the Challenge to host its own session this year at Battlefield Lanes on Sunday, March 16, at 1 p.m. Teams will consist of five bowlers each; cost for a team is $250. For those wanting to help but not wanting to bowl, lane and T-shirt sponsors are needed, as well as companies to donate giveaway prizes.
