Ridewell Suspensions announced Friday, Feb. 15, an expansion to its facility in Springfield, Mo. Ridewell — a manufacturer of air-ride suspensions for the truck, trailer, bus and recreational vehicle industries — recently completed the 53,000-square-foot addition to its manufacturing plant.

Driven by the company’s need for increased manufacturing space, the expansion — which officially opened in January — includes an automated axle line to efficiently integrate Ridewell axles with Ridewell suspensions. The new space also allows Ridewell to install new robotic equipment to handle larger suspensions for the motorcoach/RV markets.

“We are adding new tools and technologies to help us gain efficiency, consistency and higher quality,” says John Raidel II, Ridewell president. “Ultimately, it’s all about our customers who want the best quality, best value
