Phillips Industries announced Monday, Feb. 18, that Ron Alvarez has joined the company as national sales manager for OE service. Alvarez will be responsible for coordinating the company’s resources to meet the demands of the OES market for Phillip’s products and services.
“Our OE service customers are growing rapidly, and with that have specific requirements that Phillips must meet or exceed,” says Bill Phillips, director of sales for Phillips Industries, based in Santa Fe Springs, Calif. “Having Ron guide this effort will ensure that we do that. We are pleased to have him join the Phillips sales team.”
Prior to joining Phillips, Alvarez spent more than 18 years with Denso Sales California, a majority of that time in its OES sales group focusing on sales expansion of OES accounts for automotive products. His experience with Denso also included developing aftermarket programs, catalogs and distributor training for the company’s HVAC business. Alvarez also focused his time in the development of Latin America for Denso Sales California.
