Webb Wheel Products announced Tuesday, Feb. 19, that Rick Kempski has joined as vice president of marketing. Kempski will direct the company’s marketing efforts to build upon its position in supplying wheel-end components to the commercial vehicle aftermarket, and to develop and implement strategies to shape the company’s future product portfolio.

Kempski comes to Webb with more than 20 years of experience in the commercial vehicle industry. Most recently, he was director of new products and business development for the commercial vehicle aftermarket division of ArvinMeritor, responsible for implementation and introduction of major new products, mergers and acquisitions, and joint venture and alliance activities on a worldwide basis with a focus on China. Kempski also served as director of marketing/vice president of purchasing and product marketing for Euclid Industries, an aftermarket supplier to the commercial truck market, at the time the company was acquired by ArvinMeritor.

“The commercial vehicle aftermarket experience Rick brings to his new position will support our growth initiatives and greatly enhance our ability to strengthen our market position,” says Wolfgang Winzer, president of Webb’s aftermarket business unit. “We really look forward to having his expertise here at Webb.”
