RigMaster Power Corp. on Feb. 20 announced an expanded product offering for 2008 as well as a number of product enhancements on all auxiliary power unit models. RigMaster says its expanded APU product offerings include two distinct APU models:
Both unit models are available with either a Perkins or Caterpillar engine option and boast a number of product enhancements for 2008, according to the company. Also, all 2008 models now come with a serpentine belt drive to replace the generator and compressor belts to help reduce maintenance, improve serviceability and increase the APU’s longevity. RigMaster says the new design also offers drivers improved heating and cooling to the cab and comes factory-installed with a quieter muffler designed with multiple exhaust options for greater installation flexibility.
“With four models to choose from, our customers now have a single source with a broad selection of APU options to meet their idle reduction needs,” says Gary Lisson, general manager for RigMaster Power. “Regardless of which model they choose, they have the peace of mind in knowing that their APU is backed by the RigMaster name and our high level of commitment to meeting the needs of today’s industry.”
