GE Capital Solutions Fleet Services, based in Eden Prairie, Minn., recently announced that it has been awarded the Blue Seal of Excellence from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence for the ninth year.
ASE, the industry-leading certification program for automotive professionals, awards the Blue Seal of Excellence to businesses that maintain a staff certification level of at least 75 percent. GE Capital Solutions says its technical advisers have passed one or more of ASE’s stringent 40-plus repair industry-developed exams and have met requirements of relevant work experience.
In addition to ASE-certified advisers, GE Capital Solutions says its maintenance team includes certified Master Automobile Technicians and Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technicians. The elite Automobile Master Certification consists of seven tests, and the Medium/Heavy Truck series contains eight tests. Master certification requires passing all tests within the test series. To maintain ASE and Master certification, advisers must be retested every five years.
