PeopleNet taps Dillon as chief technology officer

PeopleNet — a provider of intelligent onboard solutions and mobile communications — has announced the appointment of Craig Dillon as the company’s’ chief technology officer. Dillon will provide the vision and leadership to further develop PeopleNet’s open technology designed to enable customers to deploy value-added applications.

Dillon will focus on:

  • Further enhancing the in-cab experience set by PeopleNet’s new BLU platform;
  • PeopleNet Fleet Manager Web interface and other predictive dashboard-style business intelligence tools; and
  • The ongoing evolution of PeopleNet’s open platform and multinetwork design.
  • “Craig Dillon brings a unique combination of technical acumen and organizational leadership skills to his new post,” says Ron Konezny, chief executive officer of Minneapolis-based PeopleNet. “He is just the right person to direct PeopleNet’s technology development and implementation. Craig will serve our customers well.”

    Dillon has held senior leadership positions in both entrepreneurial and established enterprises. Most recently, he was vice president at Fair Isaac Corp., a worldwide provider of decision management technology and advanced analytics based in Minneapolis. At Fair Isaac, Craig led the development of numerous decision management solutions that directly improved the operational performance of many companies, according to PeopleNet.
