Donaldson Co. describes its Synteq XP filter media technology as the next generation of its original Synteq media technology. Synteq first was first used in Donaldson lube, fuel and hydraulic filters to improve filter performance by increasing efficiency.
The company says Synteq XP media technology takes filtration performance to the next level by using a resin-free bonding technique to provide enhanced engine and system component protection, lower operating pressure drop, longer filter life (two to three times that of traditional cellulose filter media), higher filtration efficiency and versatile packaging.
