Comdata names Park to new executive role in IT

Comdata Corporation has named Andrew S. Park executive vice president, information technology and emerging products. Park is responsible for Comdata’s technology operations, product development and strategic transactions, including acquisitions, investments and divestitures. He is also charged with managing Comdata’s priority growth initiatives and is the executive leader of Comdata Regulatory Compliance Solutions, the leading provider of compliance services to clients in the transportation industry.

“Since joining Comdata in 2003, Andrew has led the successful development and launch of new electronic payment products and delivered key enhancements to core systems and product platforms,” said Brett Rodewald, president of Comdata. “Andrew has been instrumental in executing and integrating acquisitions that have expanded Comdata’s presence in strategically important market segments.”

Prior to Comdata, Park was vice president in investment banking with Morgan Stanley in New York, where he was responsible for origination and execution of M&A and financing transactions within the IT and business services sector. Before joining Morgan Stanley, he was an M&A banker with Credit Suisse First Boston. Park began his investment banking career with Lehman Brothers in 1990.

Park holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Wesleyan University and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship by the US Department of State.
