Comdata names Park executive VP/IT, emerging products

Comdata Corp. has named Andrew S. Park executive vice president of information technology and emerging products. Park is responsible for Comdata’s technology operations, product development and strategic transactions, including acquisitions, investments and divestitures. He also is charged with managing Comdata’s priority growth initiatives and is the executive leader of Comdata Regulatory Compliance Solutions, a provider of compliance services to clients in the transportation industry.

“Since joining Comdata in 2003, Andrew has led the successful development and launch of new electronic payment products and delivered key enhancements to core systems and product platforms,” says Brett Rodewald, president of Comdata. “Andrew has been instrumental in executing and integrating acquisitions that have expanded Comdata’s presence in strategically important market segments.”

Prior to Comdata, Park was vice president in investment banking with Morgan Stanley in New York, where he was responsible for origination and execution of mergers and acquisitions, as well as financing transactions, within the IT and business services sector. Before joining Morgan Stanley, he was an M&A banker with Credit Suisse First Boston. Park began his investment banking career with Lehman Brothers in 1990.
