Safety Vision, a Houston-based provider of mobile digital video solutions, has announced the addition of Michael Ondruch as chief financial officer, where he will be responsible for forging a business strategy leadership role within the company while serving as financial liaison within the business community, reinforcing relationships and maximizing efficiencies among employees, suppliers and clients alike. Ondruch also will help the company achieve its goal of $100 million in top-line revenue by 2010.

“We are entering a period of tremendous opportunity for growth in domestic and international markets,” says Bruce Smith, president and chief executive officer. “We’ve experienced intense growth cycles before, and we know they change the dynamics of a company. But change is good. This projected growth will help pave the way toward our goal of becoming a $100 million company. Michael Ondruch’s expertise will be invaluable as we set down that path.”

Smith says Ondruch has managed change in large companies that experienced 20-plus percent growth in top-line revenue annually, while helping to manage the change in infrastructure needed to support that level of growth. “Michael knows firsthand that the challenge is to plan proactively and adapt quickly, while keeping operations running smoothly, ensuring uninterrupted support to clients old and new,” Smith says. “Further, Michael’s commitment to strengthening bonds with internal and external stakeholders syncs with our longstanding commitment to building business through relationships. From the outset, Michael embraces this company’s founding ideals.”

Prior to joining Safety Vision, Ondruch held CFO posts at Victory Packaging, a North American distributor of packaging material with revenues of $650 million; and Academy Sports & Outdoors, a multibillion-dollar large-format store chain.
