Karmak Inc. announced that it has released a major update of its INFO 5 dealer management system. The new software release includes enterprise-wide enhancements for more efficient management of a heavy-duty truck or trailer dealership or rental and leasing company, the company says.
INFO 5 Version 7.3 adds new features to Karmak’s ProfitMaster line, including modules for creating mobile truck repair orders and viewing essential data in real-time dashboards, according to the company; in addition, it provides automated customer notification when parts and repair orders are fulfilled, improved credit-checking functionality, and enhanced communications with major manufacturers’ systems.
The system provides dealers with a complete management system for single or multiple locations through close integration of unit sales, service, parts inventory, accounting, and rental and leasing modules, Karmak says.
Since acquiring Rinfo Inc. and the INFO 5 system in 1997, Karmak says it has continued to update INFO 5 to address changing customer needs and market trends, and to incorporate the latest technological advancements.
