Prophesy has expanded its GPS Tracking and Mobile Communications services to include coverage within the Sprint network. This network uses CDMA technology, allowing seamless voice and data roaming to other major CDMA networks such as Alltel and Verizon, enlarging the coverage area.

Prophesy TrackerSeries runs on the Sprint/Sanyo 7050 model handset. The Sanyo 7050 was chosen for its rugged design, GPS capability, and field reliability, the company says. Other handset models will be added as they become available from Sprint.

Other recent additions to Prophesy TrackerSeries include:

integration with Prophesy Fuel Management Software allows users to send the best truck stop fuel prices along each route directly to the driver’s mobile device
Auto-completion of stops and loads (Geo-fencing)
Automated fuel tax reporting
Mapping technology provided by industry leader ESRI
